The Luminous Charitable trust founded the Annual National Competition for Science and Technology (ANCST) with a vision to mould a new generation towards innovation and productivity in the realm of science and technology. The ANCST is a nation-wide competition receiving multiple formats of entries from different age groups. The highlight of this competition is the Startup Business category, with the best entry taking back INR 25 Lakh as prize money to fund their business. The second place will receive INR 15 Lakh, and the top 100 entries will receive an international audience through our professional and academic network.

Our panel of illustrious international industry leaders and business figures will judge the entries along with experts in the fields of business, technology and social science to evaluate each project and guide participants to perfect their idea. We invite innovative ideas with social commitments. The winner will be announced by August 2020 at a grand award function hosted in New Delhi.

The essay writing/projects & working models format will receive entries from students in two age groups - 8th to 10th grade, and 11th to 12th grade while the startups and innovative ideas will receive entries from students studying in an authorised registered Science & Technology institute. We have extended this criteria for the Startups & Innovative ideas to students who have graduated from their Science & Technology institute no more than one year before the date of registration for the competition.

The registration procedure will begin by December 2019. Once registrations open, you may proceed to our registration page. After confirmation of your enrolment number, you may proceed with the submission as per the format of your entry.

For Startups and Innovative Ideas, the initial screening will be done by our technical team during which you may be contacted by e-mail or phone. The cross verifications and conversations will help you to develop the final project more accurately. Before April 2020, the participants who clear the first round of screening will face the secondary evaluation which will include video interviews, and a more thorough evaluation of the concept. The final judgement will be done by our illustrious internationally acclaimed judges.
